The Independence Day Function
The Independence Day Function
The Independence Day is a red letter day in the history of our country. India won freedom on August 15, 1947. We celebrate this day with great pomp and show. All the teachers and students gather on the school ground in the morning. Our school Principal unfurls the National Flag. We sing the National-Anthem. The march-past is also performed by the N. C. C. cadets. The Principal delivers a short speech on the importance of independence.
He inspires us to be ready to sacrifice our life for our motherland.
