Stanza 6 (I am Rapunzel, I have not a care, life in a tower is tranquil and rare; I'll certainly never let down my bright hair!) Q.1. Why does Amanda imagine herself to be Rapunzel? Ans. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931 at Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu. He was born in the family of a boat owner. He was the 11 President of India from 2002 to 2007. He had an unparalleled career as a defence scientist. He was also the recipient of the highest civilian award of India, the Bharat Ratna. While delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, Kalam collapsed and died from an apparent cardiac arrest on 27 July 2015.
